The Church of the Nazarene is a Protestant Christian church in the Wesleyan-Holiness tradition. Organized in 1908, the Church is now home to more than 2 million members worshiping in over 26,000 local congregations in 156 world areas. Our Mission of the Church of the Nazarene is to make Christ-like disciples in the nations.

Nazarene Athletics began with eight children attending our first basketball camp in 2000. Nineteen years later, the Lord continues to bless our sports ministry by expanding to over nine hundred children attending over the course of a year. Our prayers are to continue reaching our nearby south suburban communities of Chicago through sports and other activities.

In 2000, Jeff Hale's vision of providing children the opportunity to play a variety of sports in a fun, safe, Christian environment has become an intricate part of the church's community outreach program. 

Today, Nazarene Athletics offers a variety of sport camps and programs with the emphasis remaining on teaching children about Christ, developing their physical and emotional skills in a safe environment.
